Summary

My review

This book is absolutely enchanting from start to finish. I loved every page. Caroline is a beautiful and memorable character. She lit up the page. I appreciated her strength and her ever growing knowledge and opinions. Captain Scott was also very close to perfect. Their developing relationship was a joy to read. I loved each character, even the not so nice ones, because they were written with care and detail. I also enjoyed the POV changes between Caroline and Thomas. My review

This book is so fun! As are all of Julie's books. Lettie is a doll. She is funny, quirky, and a bit of a drama queen, in a cute way. I laughed out loud many times, especially when she blamed her fairy godmother for things she felt she needed to be doing for her. Very cute and funny. I loved the book Lettie wrote and her persistence in getting published. Everything about this book is fun. The plot is great. I love when authors write books about being an author. The characters are perfect. From Kat, to Anders, to even Lettie's mom. All of them were fantastic. I loved the progression of the book. The author does a great job of passing time, still mentioning important events, but not dwelling on details, that while important, didn't need to be drawn out. This book is written well, is very enjoyable, and I loved the ending so much.

My review

Lies, Love, and Breakfast at Tiffany's is a very fun, well written triumph by talented author Julie Wright. What a different and creative choice to have a main character with a glass eye and to have her name that eye, was just as creative and fun. (I got a kick out of the back story on that!) Silva is a strong, stand-up-for-herself character. I did question a couple of her choices during the course of reading, but I was thrilled with her ah-ha moments. Ben was also a great character. I loved it when he was around. Grandma was another added joy, as was Emma. The author did a fantastic job with her characters. Each were important and had a place. Even annoying Dean. I thoroughly enjoyed the "behind the scenes" glimpse of Hollywood. 

5 out of 5 stars. Julie Wright's books are always full a humor, romance, and strong characters. I loved this book!

Emma opens up to Lucas about the feelings of abandonment she has harbored ever since she was a child and her mother left the family. As she helps Lucas deal with his past demons, she is able to exorcise some of her own.

Realizing that her love life is as complicated as anything Jane Austen could have dreamed up, Emma must find a way to let Blake know that it's time for him to let her go and to let Lucas know it's time for him to love her back.

My Review

This book is an absolute delight from start to finish. Emma is fantastic. She is funny, spunky and very smart. I loved her inner conflict with “Jane” and whether or not Jane Austen has ruined her life. Very cute and clever. I thought the chapter headings were a great addition to the story too. I also loved Lucas and he and Emma had great chemistry. I enjoyed how they got to know each other, pretty much thrown together, as Lucas is hired as a consultant at Emma’s workplace. Emma and Lucas both had challenging childhoods but they both became amazing adults. Towards the end, I thought the addition of April was lovely and how Emma learned a lot about herself and her relationship with Blake. Lucas and Blake’s mother was also a favorite.  The epilogue is absolutely perfect and fits so well with the story.

My Review

Fairy tale retellings are my favorite books to read and six of them written by some of my favorite authors, makes this book even more wonderful. All six books are written well and are very enjoyable. When I started reading each story, I felt the stories and characters were well established and I was able to follow the stories with ease. I instantly was drawn into each story and thoroughly enjoyed each author’s take on these classic fairy tale stories. I couldn’t possibly pick a favorite, as each novella was so well done. I loved each one for the unique and creative stories they were.

My Review

These stories are so fun!  I thoroughly enjoyed each one.  I loved how they mixed with each other subtly, but in an entertaining and important way.  I loved the main characters in each.  Especially Emma and Stella.  My heart broke for Lucy and I loved the twist of her being dumped in her story.  I don't want to reveal what happens in each, but each author does a great job of telling their stories without giving us everything at once.  Each part reads quickly and I felt satisfied after each one ended.  They're sweet, clean stories that will leave you smiling.

Tide Pools is a captivating story by Heather B. Moore. When Lexi makes a quick trip to Hawaii to attend her friend’s wedding, she discovers that the engaged couple, Sydney and Apelu, are still trying to match-make for her. Lexi laughs because not only does their friend David have a serious girlfriend, but he owns a restaurant on the island. Lexi has too many plans that don’t include a long-distance relationship or coming between a guy and his girlfriend. But when Lexi meets David, she has a hard time remembering why all of her plans were so important.

In Sarah M. Eden’s delightful novella, A Regular Bloke from Stanmore, Abby is helping her sister, Caroline, plan her British wedding. That’s right, Caroline is obsessed with all things British and insists on an authentic wedding in . . . Oregon. When they arrive at Sainsbury House reception hall, it has everything Caroline loves, and the host, Matthew Carlton, even has a British accent. Yet Abby isn’t buying the whole good-looking-British man with impeccable manners thing; she’s determined to expose him as a fake. But the more Abby gets to know Matthew, the more she realizes how wrong she really is.

My Review

I really enjoyed this installment of A Timeless Romance Anthology.  Summer is a perfect time to fall in love.  These stories will take you away and leave a smile on your face.  Each one would become my new favorite as I would start a new one.  I have read a lot of books from each of these authors, and I appreciated each author's individual style.  I loved this summer themed collection of clean romances that had plenty of spark between the characters.  I was lucky enough to read while I was on the beautiful Oregon coast.

5 out of 5 stars.  The Autumn Collection is due out in August!  This time around it will have romantic suspense novellas.  I can't wait for that one.
