My Review

There were many things I liked in The Awakening.  I enjoyed that when Kyler came to the school, he was surprised by all the magic around him and what he thought he didn't know.  I enjoyed his journey of self-discovery and how he realized how important he was.  There was a magical library that was amazing!  At times, I thought the story took a couple unnecessary turns, and the language of the teens didn't match the time period.  But all in all, I really liked Kyler, Henry, and Darcy.  She was a fun surprise (who had a huge story of her own).  Great ending and many surprise twists!
