My Review
This darling book has the lyrics of an old beloved song, mixed with beautiful illustrations. Your journey begins with a red balloon that travels all around the country, visiting 12 different locations throughout the US. Starting at a pier on Pacific Beach, California, and ending at The Statue of Liberty in New York City. The illustrations are lovely and perfectly depict the places the little red ballon passes.
Enjoy this book together as a family, as you learn about our country. At the end, there is a "Discover America" challenge that you can start with your own balloon.
