My Review
I really enjoyed Pivot Point. I don't really want to summarize anymore of it, because a lot happens and I don't want to give anything away. I thought the characters were well written and I really enjoyed the alternating chapters of her Search of staying with her mom or leaving with her dad. I also liked how the two related to each other at times, too. I thought the world the author created was unique and clever, and those living at the Compound had very cool abilities. I was surprised throughout and the ending had me reading hungrily until I was finished. I was very pleased that this was a clean read that I could pass to my daughters without hesitation and recommend to anyone looking for a fun read that will leave you satisfied at the end, while also leaving you wanting more. That is what a good book does.
4 out of 5 stars. I am looking forward to Book 2, which is titled Split Second, and it will be released February 2014. Kasie also has another book out called The Distance Between Us, it was released July 2nd, 2013. The ebook copy of Pivot Point is only $1.99 on Kindle, Nook and iBooks.
